ARTYŚCI 2018 / 2018 / Marta Wajdzik

Marta Wajdzik - alto and soprano saxophonist, composer. Born in 2001. A student of music high school in Bielsko-Biała. Awarded in classical music competitions, for 6 years has been focused on development in jazz. In 2017 awarded as the best soloist at CEA National Competition of Jazz Bands in Warsaw, and at the 20th National Festival of Young Jazz and Blues Bands in Gdynia. A featured soloist at gala concerts of the 47th International Old Jazz Meeting "Gold Washboard" in Iława, and of Lotos Jazz Festival - Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa in Bielsko Biała. Awarded the 1st prize at the 10th Tarnów Jazz Contest 2017. 

She's had the privilege to share the stage with: Urszula Dudziak, Henryk Miśkiewicz, Robert Majewski, Wiesławem Pieregorólka, as well as Stanisław Słowiński, Grzech Piotrowski and Andrzej Zubek.
